Welcome to the Whispering Whale, comprising of 3 Luxury Apartments situated in the heart of the gorgeous Jacobsbaai which is a hidden treasure on the Cape West Coast of South Africa.

Our Apartments are available as Self Catering or Bed and Breakfast options and you’ll find that they have been built to make you feel right at home.

Jacobsbaai

Situated on the West Coast of South Africa, Jacobsbaai has one of the most beautiful and self–fulfilling natural landscapes in Africa.

This quiet Village, also referred to as the “Namaqualand” of the West Coast, with its traditional lime washed houses, is set against a breathtaking coastline with rocky out crops and sandy bays with a cobalt ocean.

Jacobsbaai is ideally situated for excursions throughout the Cape region. Cape Town, Cape Town International Airport, the Cape Wine Lands, the West Coast National Park, the West Coast Flower Region and many other attractions, are all within easy traveling distance.

The Area

Jacobsbaai is halfway between Vredenburg and Saldanha. It is a rather isolated, traditional West Coast Village with strict building restrictions, resutling in a breathtaking. 2km of Coastline with rocky and sandy bays and lime washed houses against a cobalt ocean.

Simply awesome quality all over – I will honestly tell all my friends about it – it is one of those places that one can take anyone to for a weekend!
